Volunteering

By volunteering at Cambuslang Credit Union, you can learn new skills in a supportive and friendly environment. We also organise a number of social events for volunteers, including our most recent summer barbeque.
We are always keen to hear from people who would like to volunteer and help with the running of Cambuslang Credit Union. Some of the skills we are looking for include:-

• Good people skills
• Ability to talk to members who come from all backgrounds
• Making people feel at ease when using the services of Cambuslang Credit Union
• A basic knowledge of accounts
• Some knowledge of credit unions and how they operate
• Able to work as part of a team

Don’t worry if you can’t meet all of the above, we help and train new volunteers so that they can do all the above!
